So far we have:
- requested parental leave /career breaks and got agreement from work that we can go;
- told school we will be taking Wes out for a term - we will have to de-register him after the Easter break and re-register him to go back into year 4 in September 2017. The school are really supportive and we are hoping we can keep in touch during out trip and that Wes can do a couple of transition days into his new class the week before the summer holidays.
- got a rough idea of a route - we know roughly where we want to go but are not yet committed to staying in any particular places
- started saving!!
Now we are ready to invite our family, friends and colleagues to get involved and help us plan our amazing trip.
